Wordpress Programming

Challenge: A church in Virginia sought to improve its presence on the Internet by reaching out to its growing community.

Strategy: Working with Style and Image Network, I implemented a series of Wordpress blogs within an existing website design. This initially created challenges with preserving the unity of the static design over a number of dynamic pages, but was solved through thoughtful programming. Additionally, as different blogs developed and non-technical users took control over blog administration, I developed training materials to keep the site operating efficiently and as intended.

Result: Within a month of the site's launch, traffic increased by over 100%. More users than before are taking a hand in communicating the church's message, and the client reports that previously uninvolved community members are now using the website to reconnect with the church.
